1. Recently, I had occasion to use my F.R.E.D. unit in a medical emergency and found out just how well it actually works!! At about 3 am in the morning, I suddenly was awakened with severe pains is my stomach and lower back The pain was so severe, I could not move to the other side of my bed where the telephone was located. But, thankfully, I had the FRED911 remote at my fingertips. As soon as I pressed the button, the 911 operator's voice came over the base unit of the system, located by the phone. Even though I'm rather hard of hearing (I'm in my eighties) I could hear the man (911 operator) plain as day. I told him I didn't know what to do, and I couldn't move, plus I was having difficulty breathing.

2. Within minutes, the Rescue Squad arrived and they transported me to the hospital. They were able to settle me down and help relieve the pain plus ran some tests. Since I live alone, there is no way I would have gotten to the phone (let alone the hospital) without the help of the FRED device. And of course, no telling how much worse my condition would have gotten without the Rescue Squad's help.

3. Again, thank you for FRED. Count me as one of your very satisfied and impressed owners of FRED. I feel a great sense of security with this device by my side.
